HOTEL JEWEL OF PARADISE IN MAL PAIS is a small, cozy and exclusive hotel located in the center of Malpais, close to supermarkets, bars and restaurants. To the beach it is only a 5 minutes walk and you are on famous Playa Carmen, one of the best surf spots of the area. The hotel is situated at 250 meter from intersection between Malpais and Santa Teresa. A truly amazing location! Despite its central location in town, the hotel is an oasis of tranquility, where you can relax and enjoy the pleasures of tropical life. Jewel of Paradise combines Costa Rican traditional architecture such as wood work and palm roofs - with modern convenience. The accommodations are spacious, comfortable and situated in leveled exotic gardens. There is a total of 5 cottages for rent and a house. Three 2-bedrooms cottage + two A/C cottages. + 1 house. Cottages with 2 Bedrooms: Each cottage has a separate double bedroom, a living room with 2 single beds, a kitchen and private bathroom with hot water shower. They are built with an excellent system of ventilation and each room has a ceiling fan. All windows are protected with mosquito nets and the beds are furnished with orthopedic mattresses. In front of the cottages a wide individual wood veranda affords an intimate sitting place from where you can enjoy views of the ocean with spectacular Pacific sunsets. There is also a large building with 3 rooms, 2 with A/C, 1 and 1/2 bathroom a large Kitchen and large living area. This building could have many different purposes, it was at first a restaurant, now it is in use as a house, but could be re used as restaurant with shops or even transformed in a spa … rooms with Air Condition: The rooms are equipped with a queen size bed and a single bed, all with orthopedic matrasses. There is silent air conditioning and a bathroom with hot water shower. The rooms are fronted by a veranda with kitchenette and sitting area. A swimming pool built by “piscinas aquarium” and a bodega with laundry room. Under the bodega there is a water tank of 4 meter on 2 meter on 2 meter and half with a pressure tank and a private parking place. During the high season the occupancy is minimum 90% until 98%, from May to August and in November an occupancy of 60% and September October 50% The hotel is built in 2001 and it was always run by the same owner
